Hi Sascha,

Good work on the document - you make it sound so straightforward. :)

Your syslog output is very interesting, and it looks as if you may be
right - my module seems to be dying while trying to detect the chip.

itexadsl: card #0 - MAC: 00:90:96:0d:f7:dc from eeprom.
Unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address c4912000

Just for reference it's an Apollo 3, main chip designation is i90388E.
Strangely the number on my chip is different from the number your module
detects (ITeX i90134) which may or may not be significant.

The other difference I notice is that your irq, ioaddr and membase are all
detected as 0 - perhaps you are using PnP to set these?

I may do some hunting on the web for info on my chip.
