Oooooh, it is good to see some Telecom staff actually subscribe and read
this list :-)
Does that mean somewhere in sales or marketing that the wheels are turning
and there will be some better options coming out for ADSL plans ? or do
those particular ones get "forgotten" :P
I hate to be another whinger but if enough of us comment, maybe something
will happen ?
I mean what is so hard about 256kb/s or 512 kb/s rate limited options with
similar traffic caps to the 128kb/s setup now. Problem for me dropping down
from full JetStream is that I have remote access to work via IPNet which is
a 512kb/s connection (that may be going up soon) vs if I change to Jetstream
Starter I will be limited to a 128kb/s connection (as I believe this is rate
limited at the Exchange ?)
I mean my average Jetstream bill is around $200 which is not quite enough to
make me want to change to the 3 GB plan, yet I would probably be happy to
pay around $200 for a 512kb/s rate limited plan with a 5GB Int cap.
Does Telecom do surveys of what customers are willing to pay to have better
options ? (I know some people here would like 512kb/s for $70 like in
Singapore, but I think one has to be realistic about what Telecom would do.
I would like to see the options available first, eventually they will slowly
improve the pricing - one hopes)
