Couple of follow up points:
1. "with out" should have been "with our"
2. I've noticed that ASUS have dropped PPTP support from their spec sheet
for the AAM6000EV
3. ASUS now have an AAM6030VI which does have PPTP in the spec sheet:

I have no idea if this product will reach NZ.
