hmmn, I origionally posted this in another forum, but perhaps someone here
could shed some light on whats going on
seems dunedin is more effected than others...

I have done some exaustive pinging for the 192.168.253.225 machine, which is
the local dunedin ran (regional access node - telecoms hardware), and
removed each reply and included the summary, for your convience.

Ping statistics for 192.168.253.225:
Packets: Sent = 30, Received = 30, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 57ms, Maximum = 132ms, Average = 63ms
