Personally I don't think your going to see much of a difference
between using the USB interface or using the UTP interface.

As Ross has already said the USB interface is acting as a USB
Ethernet Adaptor. Obviously your not going to get full 100Mb
Switching from the USB Interface but for general browsing you are
still capable of pulling down up to 11Mbps (Full Speed USB1.1 spec)
Of course you'll be hard pressed to get your DSL running at that
speed.

The router is completely manageable from either USB or UTP.
The UTP interface is a full blown 10/100Mb Switch so in most cases
the USB interface will end up being fairly redundant.
