Itex drivers on linux

Hi

I've been trying to install the linux Itex drivers for the last few days
on a Pentium 100 and ran into the problem described on the list a while
back (segmentation fault). However, the modem is a D-Link 100-D and the
D-Link driver loads fine. Since the module is roughly the same size I
figure it must be the Itex one slightly modified - but I can't get pppoa
to work and there's no information about this on the D-Link site.
(/var/log/messages says : connect(0.100) : no such device. pppd doesn't
seem to give any useful information even with debug turned on).
Has anyone ever got this to work or is this a dead-end? If I can't get
this to work I'll have to use Win98 connection sharing on the same box
and I'm quite reluctant to do that (am I right or am I just biased?)

Thanks for your help

Simon Barthelme
