Hi guys - I got a lot of responses to my problem a few days ago and
people suggested lots of things... I tried moving it off the UPS, tried
different cables again, and finally turned off the Linux box after Craig
H suggested that SNMP or Telnet monitoring may be the cause.

I was running MRTG with an expect script telnetting to the router every
5 minutes to gather info, and Craig confirmed he was running a pretty
much identical setup that caused problems.

Anyway - switching the Linux box off has resulted in no reboots for the
last 30 hours, which is a record for the last 3-4 months.

So thanks all for your responses, and especially you Craig for a 100%
spot on diagnosis!

Now, does anyone else MRTG an M1122 with an expect script - do you have
problems? How often does your script run?

Cheers - Neil G
