Hi Mike,

You might find a good test method for this situation is to set your IE proxy
to an external proxy server for example: httpproxy.clear.net.nz
Then your http requests will appear to originate from outside your router
and will be via the WAN interface so the redirection will work as it
normally would for an external internet user.

        I think you will find this has nothing to do with the firewall. The
router
        will forward incoming requests from the WAN interface to the
webserver, as
        you have set it. The port forwarding applies to the WAN interface.

        IE, if you put yourself on the otherside of the firewall, you are
still on
        the LAN interface, and will still hit the router's admin page.
