Hi,

I'm currently using a Zyxel Prestige 642R router which is the only one
in the $400-$500 range to my knowledge that will support Windows
Messenger features straight out of the box without pinholing needed.
I've found it to be nice and stable since beginning use of and it has
some pretty good features.

I do not know about the firewall - I re route everything via a *nix box
internally to cache and firewall there. That aside, it works very nicely
with Windows Messenger file, video, audio.

Cheers

Subject: Windows Messenger and Video Conferencing

Hi,

I am looking for a ADSL router that is known to support Windows
Messenger
and video conferencing and also has a builtin stateful packet inspection
firewall. What recommendations do people have, I have little time for
the
marketing drivel that the manufacturers produce and would prefer first
hand
experience.

cheers,
Bjorn.
