Bjorn,
I have an IX66 EDFLC from Intertex in Sweden (http://www.intertex.se)
which is an ADSL router, stateful packet inspection firewall and SIP
register and proxy. I use the SIP communications service account with
Windows Messenger 4.6 on win98 and Windows (not MSN) Messenger 5 Beta
with XP and Win 2000 to do chat, audio and video (only one to one, not
conferencing) to other SIP users throughout the world.

I am happy to discuss it in more detail if you wish.

Bruce Barton

Subject: Windows Messenger and Video Conferencing

Hi,

I am looking for a ADSL router that is known to support Windows
Messenger and video conferencing and also has a builtin stateful packet
inspection firewall. What recommendations do people have, I have little
time for the marketing drivel that the manufacturers produce and would
prefer first hand experience.

cheers,
Bjorn.
