Jetstream Starter Cap Silliness

Hello all you bandwidth starved addicts!
Here's a question for ya.
My Jetstream Starter account (it was so much easier to type when it was just 'Jetstart' <sigh>) went nuts yesterday and gave me uncapped speed (yay) for one night (boo).
While the extra speed was great, there seems to have been some strange side effect on my traffic limit as reported by the Telecom Jetstream usage meter. Last night it started out at about 6.5Gig, and then rose to 7Gig before I went to bed. I left stuff downloading overnight and this morning it was at 5.5Gig!!! WTF!!!
I am sure I have seen this issue discussed here before, but I'm buggered if I can find it in the archives. Maybe this is related in some way to the uncapped speeds I experienced yesterday?
I'm a wee bit concerned that my actual traffic is higher than what is being reported on the usage meter and I will be billed for excess data at the end of the month!
Any insight would be much appreciated!
Sam.
