Hi all,

I have been tasked with setting up a LAN to LAN VPN and would like some advice if possible. The current setup at each site is as follows;

(Telecom)---a[ M1122 ]b----Internal network
IP Network interfaces
a is the static Public IP address rented and assigned by jetstream
b is 192.168.1.2
The proposed solution is to use a Netscreen 5XP between the M1122 and the internal network to create a persistent tunnel between the sites. Hence setup for 1 site would be as follows;

(Telecom)---a[ M1122 ]b----c [ NS 5XP ] d---(Internal network)
IP Network interfaces
a is the static IP address rented and assigned by jetstream
b ?
c ?
d is the X.Y.Z internal address
My questions are, how do I setup the M1122 router in the proposed solution above, ie; ports to open up, changes to router mode (bridge mode?), firmware to upgrade, IP address to assign to b,c etc etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Mark
