I had a problem with some VBA recently and went to an MS
newsgroup - that is when all this started. I suspect someone
there saw the security patch from MS in the NG and decided
that it must be legit so used it.

I was getting a few spam a day - nothing that I could not handle and
this is all the mail to my domain which has been going for eight years
now and I do not get filtered mail.
