Further to my message to the NZ ADSL mailing list on 29th September, we have now posted Rel9v4 firmware for DSE ADSL Routers (XH1149 & XH7916) in a much easier to handle DLF format. Download the DLF firmware from here:

- This DLF firmware version allows you to upgrade to the latest Rel9v4 from REL9v2 or RELv3 only.
- If you have any earlier version, do not use this DLF file - it will not work.
- Make sure you read the included instructions before applying this firmware upgrade.
- This new DLF firmware upgrade does not require you to dismantle your router - simply download it, unzip it to a folder, read the instructions enclosed in the .ZIP, point the routers browser to the new firmware and click on the "upload" button.
- If you somehow manage to break your router's firmware, the full version (which requires you to dismantle the hardware and manually place the router into program mode) is posted here:
