I had the same problem with their coverage checker so I rang the 0800
number listed to ask if there was coverage in the Manawatu. I first had
to convince the sales people that they did indeed sell a product called
Xtra Wireless - they believed me once they saw it on their web site.
They couldn't tell me anything else though, but did give me an 0800
number to ring. I rang it and got the Telstra-Clear help line ):-o

Goodness knows what the coverage is like... the Telecom and Xtra web
sites both have links to "Check whether you can get Xtra Wireless", but
both just take you to the regular Jetstream line test page which only
tells you if you can get DSL, with no mention of wireless whatsoever.
