I have been experiencing, over the last week, times when the JS (full rate
w/ static IP) connection would drop out, then come up again in anywhere from
1-10 minutes. I am using a Dlink DSL-504 and it advises me that there is a
'physical line fault' when not trying to connect. Xtra has confidently
advised me that there are no problems with its network and Telecom does not
often give out any information, without a lot of hassle, true or otherwise.

Is there anyone else in this area that can confirm whether they are being
affected by this?
