Hi everyone,
Slingshot are doing a deal for the first 500 customers on their 'JetBuster' plan of 'unlimited' ADSL for $30 per month (+ Telecom charges etc). I asked them what they meant by 'unlimited' and I was told that you are only asked to ease up your constant leeching if your usage eats into other users bandwidth. Also, they cap speeds on P2P apps at 'peak' times (which I was told was 4pm to 2am). Their T&C states that you must 'Comply with reasonable requests' in regards to usage and that you are not allowed to run 'servers'. Other than that it's 'unlimited' :)
I just signed up this morning and got in the first 500 and it has been running for a couple of weeks now I think.
The number to ring is different to what their web site states. It is:
0800 893 030
The only minor catch is that you have to pay 3 monthly in advance every 3 months and you can't get a refund.
Just thought I'd mention it.
Sam.
