This is just a quick note to advise we are posting Linux Mandrake 9.1 USB drivers for XH1148 DSE ADSL USB Modem.

- The post will be live tomorrow - 22nd November 2003 - and can be downloaded directly from: http://www.dse.co.nz/isroot/dse/support/XH1148-MDK91.tar or by visiting www.dse.co.nz - search for XH1148 & follow the links.

- This is an interim Conexant branded release - a fully NZ customized version will be released shortly.

- Please note the defaults settings are NOT customized for NZ and there are other differences. If you intend to use this release, please make sure you read the included text file "README.xh1148".

- There are no critical issues in using these interim drivers - just the *nice to have* things like VCI, VPI, etc need to be manually set.
