The interesting thing is... I am currently (stuck) here in Oz on a
client site until next april.... And I happened (I'm in a very small
town with 2 pubs, so theres not a lot to do :) to pick up a flyer for
Xbox live...
The pamphlet states:
"recommended internet connection with upstream of 128k minimum"
It makes no mention whatsoever of the downstream requirements.... Which
is interesting.... So kiwis need to have 256k... But aussies only need
128k???
Actually, now that I think about it, maybe its because all the cable and
dsl connections over here are already 256k+ downstream, but some of them
only have a 64k upstream pipe.
