I am on the Birkenhead excahnge with both Jetstream and Jetstart both
through Xtra.

Over the last week the Jetstream PPP conection seems to "Just Die" every
couple of days. Nothing has been altered here for at least two months unless
the modem is dieing!!!!
The line connection stays up fully all the time.

It is easily restarted by using the mail server the Jetstream is connected
to check out a web site via http which automatically creates a new PPP
session.

Unfortunately inbound email stops untill noticed.

Ringing Xtra ADSL help desk just seems to go into a black hole!

Anyone with any ideas?
