The technology used by NZ Telco's supports up to 1Mbps & 8Mbps. However the Telco implementation (lines, premises wiring, DSLAMs, Etc) limits the technology to about 800Kbps & 7.616Mbps - this is before any of the plan throttling that's going on - these numbers are from our Telepermit test reports...
