again... INCORRECT!

I actually rang Telstra, asked to speak to someone in sales with a technical
understanding of Telstra's profit offering.

I was transfered fairly promptly (professionally, not rudly) to a person in
tech support, I spent 30 to 45 minutes talking about the different products
Telstra could offer me and was then transfered back to sales to confirm
pricing and avaliability.

In Australia Telstra normally use a ratio of 300:1 for dsl so at 256k 8mbit
would service a few more than 20-30 users.

With data limits/caps and then a charge per mb for data giving users the
maximum speed possible actually makes good business sense as long as you have
the back haul in place to meet peak traffic times. (which Telstra Clear
should have). - If you disagree then I'm open to hearing your reasoning why.
