VPN/PPTP Problem

Hi,

I've recently moved onto my 3rd ADSL modem. After kiddies poured water
into my old (but reliable) Nokia M11, I borrowed a Nokia M1122 before
splashing out on a Netgear DG834M.

My problem is that my VPN connection into work using Windows PPTP now
seems to fail 90% of the time getting no further than Verifying Username
and Password.

I understood that the Netgear had PPTP pass-through and it does work
every now and again whereas with the Nokias it was every time.

Any ideas?

The MTU size is at 1500 and everything else is the default (i.e. allow
services out but not in). I've recently flashed the Netgear to the
lastest firmware as well.

Thanks in advance.
