But this all depends on the gauge of the cable feeding your area. If you
are in a built up area the likelyhood is that it is all on 0.4mm cable. In
which case it's never going to work no matter how many loading coils or
multiples are removed from your pair. Another thing we check now is the
noise levels on the cables. The limit is 110dB. This can be checked by
Telecom and the service companies quite easily. However, Telecom don't
check as thoroughly as they should when they get a job request and
installers such as myself have to give the customers the bad news.
