I read thorough ADSL2 article on eetimes and skimmed through the whitepaper just now and I can't seem to find anything which directly indicates this is true. There is some reference to multiple channels and maybe this could enable multiple modems on one line? However, it sounds to me more like it's intended for one modem to be able to have multiple links for different purposes, e.g. one for voice, one for games, one for normal data, maybe even a separate one for browsing/small files although this doesn't rule out using it with multiple modems I suppose depending on how it works. Or will the ADSL2plus capability of using on certain frequencies ranges allow this? From what I read, it seems to be to reduce crosstalk between lines and doesn't seem to be for using different frequencies with different modems on one line but maybe it would be possible?

One thing I noticed is that it does support bonding several lines together. But I wonder how many would be willing to pay for this service in NZ assuming they charge you double JetStream (full) prices and double line rental... Given that most people including many business are willing to put up with JetStream Starter because JetStream costs too much.
