I am trying to configure a Speedtouch and a Sonicwall for bridged
ethernet and PPPoE so that the Sonicwall has the external IP address
assigned to it.

I am using ADSL from Clear Net which uses PPPoE to connect and assign IP
address (G.dmt; VPI=0; VCI=100; Framing=LLC/SNAP; PAP)

The Speedtouch I have configured in Bridged Ethernet mode.

The Sonicwall I have configured in NAT with PPPoE mode and supplied the
Clear Net user/pass.

I cannot get this to work and am not sure what I have done wrong (I am
not familiar with the Speedtouch).

I also tried using the Speedtouch with an XP client and the PPPoE wizard
in XP and could not get this to work either.

I assume that I have set up the Speedtouch incorrectly - can anyone shed
any light on this?

thanks,
Regan
