As much as I hate some of Telecom's practices, I can't really see it as
shady, how is it any different to them saying that the more expensive price
is the "standard" price, and that if you do your toll calls with them
they'll give you a $10 discount ?

And how is that any different than an ISP offering a discount on webhosting
costs if the same customer has a dialup connection with them ? (Some do)

Discounts for bundling of services is not uncommon in many industries...
