Been following this off and on with little interest and didn't realise the
cordless is a Panasonic ...
we have a kx-tc1200nz...cisco 827 router...
never had any problems other than it been left out in the yard someware,and
cant find it
 Im sure that's not router or ADSL related.
But must note it does seem quite water resistant
