Yeah it is cheaper to change the phone rather than go for full install, but
that won't help the new people that decide to buy a "small Panasonic
cordless phone" and has or will get jetstream.

Maybe telecom can send a PR to the retailers asking them to advice the
customers of the problem (I may be dreaming - didn't sleep well last night).
Once the sales of those phones drops, Panasonic will have no choice but look
in to the issue.

Also nobody tried to link it to distance between the customer and the
exchange. I was about a 1km from the exchange when I had the problem.

I'd be really interested in a good answer to this.

However, with my Panasonic phone a full install from Telecom only made the
phone better, no way near perfect. I'm currently using a self install with
dodgy, el cheapo filters but will replace these if anyone has some good
recommendations.

I'm not interested in going to a full install, its cheaper for me to buy a
new phone than go to a full install.

Dave

Hmmm, so what would be considered a 'good quality' filter? Anyone have one?

I've tried an Asus branded filter and a DSE one. Not actually sure where
you'd get one!?
