When you analyze:
- the numbers of phones and filters sold
- the price of new cordless phones
- the occurrences of the problem
..this is all a "STORM IN A TEACUP"!

Coming up with a circuit (if its possible) and connecting to the Telecom network is illegal (I believe). So following this logic, if list members design a fix that is not Telepermitted, could they be aiding an offence (or something)? Just because its a list, doesn't mean NZ is not applicable - consider worst case scenario - someone builds a circuit from the list which doesn't comply with safety standards - house gets zapped by lightning, kills someone on the phone - who will OSH (or whoever) pin the blame on? Just be careful...
