Someone mentioned something about not interfering with other equipment.
Having two pieces of equipment compatible is not to say that they are the
best possible combination. A phone is not good if one cannot hear what the
other party is saying. If something is interfering with that phone then that does
mean that something is not operating in a way as to not interfere with other
equipment.

It is not about testing a device with every other device - it is about operating
a device within specific parameters which mean that they will work with other
devices - not as interconnected devices which need each other - but as independent
devices connected to the same network.
