| I have no problem reaching www.userlocal.com either.
|
| The only problems I've noticed was a couple of weeks back I
| noticed a couple of brief (1 to 2 minute) traffic outages
| about 3 hops from me, other that that, no problems, not even
| any line drops. (Current DSL/PPP session uptime is 10 days
| which is back to when I had a power cut)
|
| So Jetstream Surf *can* work well, although I have no doubt
| that some people are having problems for various reasons.
| Strange that people that were on Jetstart are now having
| problems though, I wasn't on Jetstream/Jetstart at all before
| getting Jetstream Surf, so I have no direct comparision.
Hi everyone

Whilst I don't doubt some are having a great experience with the new Jet
Surf plans, lets keep some things in mind.

* My DSL Session, according to my M1122 interface, hasn't dropped in
literally months.
* My IP Address hasn't changed during these outages
* If it wasn't for my using it pretty solidly yesterday I to wouldn't
have noticed.
* Those who uses it for web browsing etc after work hours, I would
imagine its possible to not notice small outages.

Thankfully today everything has been fine ... so it seems there are
issues somewhere on the Telecom network ... its just a case of someone
finding it.
