Please note that on Friday 21st May, the DSE Support centre received a increase in support calls from XH1137 DSE PCI ADSL Modem owners. Almost all of the calls were from customers who have owned and operated XH1137 for quite some time. Customers reported the modem would not connect to Telecoms ADSL service - the driver reports error 651.
This problem could be caused through incorrect driver configuration, damaged modem hardware (lightning spike, static discharge, etc) or ADSL infrastructure issues (ADSL network hardware configuration). We would like to assist Telecom to rule out any possibilities that the problem is an infrastructure issue. If you have or are experiencing this problem in May 2004, could you please respond directly to me with the following information:
- The phone number (and area code) the modem is connected to

Chris Day
