Hi Everyone,

I spoke to a Jetstream helpdesk guy last week about a job I was doing, and
while talking to him, I asked him about the speed limiting on my Jetstream
Surf connection and what limit I was likely to be speed capped at etc...

His reply was:

"Telecom have not implemented any systems to enable it to speed limit your
connection. There is currently no way for them to limit your speed."

My reply was:

"That's very interesting!! Thank you very much for that information!!"
:)))))) - (with the big grin and everything!)

He went on to mention that systems would be implemented soon as there were
some people downloading 120gig per month which is pretty much 100%
utilisation!! It is obviously in Telecom's best interest to get the systems
in place ASAP!!

I remember reading about someone on this list who speculated about this very
scenario!

Anyway, just thought I'd pass this useful piece of information to you all :)

Can't quite imagine why they rushed this to market tho... *coughLLU*

Have fun!

Sam.
