I don't think that one post from an (apparently) low IQ layman such as
myself will make the slightest difference to what telecom does or doesn't
do.

If telecom could have implemented rate limiting by now, why would they not
have done so? They have nothing to gain by delay and certainly a lot to
loose.

Anyway, this topic is now non-techinical so I suggest people heed their own
flames and move this to chat where, incidentally, I will not be replying.

Just because they dont post often does not mean they are not listening.

If you check the archives you will find that there are a number of people on
here from various parts of the telecom corporate, from helpdesk, to
technical people through to management.

Posts like yours once almost got DSL pulled off the market around 3-4 years
ago soon after it was launched.
