The Speedtouch Home isn't a current model anymore, but I've done the same
thing with my Speedtouch 510v4.

Although I normally use it in NAT mode, I can fairly quickly upload a
configuration profile that puts it into PPTP passthrough mode and then use
a VPN connection from the PC to get the outside ip address on it directly.
(I've had very little need to do so however...)
