Hey all,

Sorry to bother you all again but as mentioned I'm still actively
considering my plans. I've been looking into routers a lot and so far, the
only ethernet routers in NZ that have a way of getting the external IP from
a PPPoA connection to the computer are the DSE ones with half-bridge and
the Alcatel SpeedTouch ones with PPPoA relay. Even the few ethernet
products here called modems generally keep the IP themselves. I'll post the
list I've compiled (also includes whether the modem supports DMZ) for
future reference but before I do, anyone have any products available in NZ
that do have such a feature? Either reply here or e-mail and I'll compile
it together.

P.S. The above refers to PPPoA connections. With other connections types
(PPPoE, DHCP etc), you can generally run in transparent bridge mode.
