I have not had a single problem with mine , updated it with the patched
firmware which fixed the hole , mine has been up now for about 2 months
without going down :) , I have never has a problem with it dropping off.

What sort of uptime do you get with your RTA020? The one we had wouldn't
last a week, typically had to be power cycled every three days. This is a
fairly well known problem.

We now have an RTA220, which has great uptime. Only flaw I have with it is
that according to the advertised product specs:
"SNMPv1/v2 agent with MIB-II, PPP MIB, ADSL Line MIB." however:

<quote>
ADSL Line MIB isn't supported by the current firmware 4.2.x.x nor the future
release 5.0.0.x. The RTA020 is different. It supports ADSL Line MIB under
Virata's ISOS 7.1 code tree. However our R&D people had previously decided
not to port these codes to our ISOS 8.1/8.2 SR1/8.2 SR2 code trees for
RTA220/300/300.
</quote>

So if you plan on using the likes of MRTG to graph your traffic, you're
limited to #ethernet usage, which is near useless.
