Billion 7100 4 port
Nice and easy to setup, easy to configure firewall for basic use.

Just would not sync up on the boundaries of the ADSL network. Connected
Alcatel Speed touch Pro to the same line and it connected straight away @
1200 downstream. Pre tested Billion on ADSL 1200m from exchange and
connected @ max speed of 7616.

More testing could have been carried out with adsl help desk but when you
can plug another Modem/Router in and it works, why bother.

Another down side is that they require reboots to save changes.

Will use it again but not on the longer runs.

Subject: RE: Billion DSL modems

We (Inspire) purchased a Billion router for test purposes a few months ago
and gave it to a staff member. The staff member has had no problems with
this router at all and is very impressed with the features.

On another note we purchased a couple of D-Link 504G's (a new model) today
and are very impressed with those also. The Billion staff member will be
taking one home soon to have a play with for a couple of weeks.

If anyone wants to see screenshots of the Billion or D-Link 504G then
contact me off-list. " dave @ staff . inspire.net.nz ".
