Hi,

For various reason I need to get a new broadband connection, so I am looking at the DSL offerings from Orcon but also very keen on Wired Country (fed up with Telecom changing the rules).

I am really keen on the static IP thing, so this is now a requirement now. I also want everything on one bill.

I have heard my current ISP, Maxnet has signed up to WiredCountry but they haven't got their act together to announce prices - I have been waiting over a month now. I would really prefer to stay with my current ISP, but the offers from Orcon and the like expire at the end of this month - or at least if you want to get them at $49. So there is a time limit.

I would really like to know if I will actually be able to get Wired Country - technically, as there are a few trees in the way. But I can't unless I sign up to an ISP, which is a pain!

I see World Net are now offering Wired Country - has anyone had experience with World net, as an ISP, are they easy to deal with, good bandwidth, that type of thing.

Thanks folks
