Well my new billing period started on the 15th and lo and behold what do
I see when I crank up the speed tests...

"Your line speed is approximately 271.4 Kbps or 33.3 K bytes/sec"

Oh well :(

On the Telecom usage meter what is your current plan stated as?
Mine is still Jetstream Surf and so is the next billing period plan.

Sounds like you've either been throttled for excess use or downgraded to
a 256kbps plan. My surf connection still connects at full speed. I have
no idea when my billing date is and I don't really care - much less
stress not knowing by the sounds of it.
