Sure your router isn't telling you fibs ? I was under the impression that
with _A_DSL that an upstream speed higher than 1Mbit was flat out
impossible. Or does the ADSL spec not dictate which direction has the lower
speed ?

EG if they cap your downstream rate to 320Kbit, but don't cap the upstream
speed, does the router decide that the excess bandwidth can be utilized for
the upstream direction instead ? Interesting if its true... but I doubt it.
Anyone studied the technical specs of ADSL that can give a definitive answer ?
