I don't see PPPoA as evil, PPPoA has proven to be reliable, other protocols
(e.g. PPPoE) have many more issues than PPPoA.

The issue has always been NAPT, most of the issues reported to this list
over the years have a common theme of "how do I get this to work through
NAPT".

I think you will see a lot of new functionality arrive via UBS, there are a
few hurdles to leap first tho.

It is to do with the cost of Telecom Broadband, many users of this list pay
20c per meg :)
