Hi,

Last few days I've been getting "authentication failure", I reboot and it's fine.

Had this a month or two ago and it went away - must phone up help desk, but scared off by the reports of horrendous waiting times.

ISP is Orcon, not sure the plan as it's supposed to be the 256/128 but I have not been notified :-(

I lost my ADSL connection Friday night/Saturday morning. I'm a JetStream
Plus user through Orcon and after numerous calls, I have an engineer
booked for Tuesday.

Has anyone else been experiencing weird problems over the weekend? I've
been hearing rumours of major problems.

My Netgear ADSL Modem/Router appears to get one layer of the connection
up - it has up/down connection speeds set and then says...

    Initialize LCP.
    LCP is allowed to come up.

Normally this would be followed by...

    PAP authentication success

but not any more.
