I had issues on thursday night and rang orcon friday morning and basically
they couldn't see me attempting to authenticate, which was odd.

I went in and checked my adsl password etc, effectively changed nothing,
retried a few times to logon and then I was away. Maybe retrying login a
few times might allow people to connect and get around the issue (if it
still exits?)

Sam.

Subject: ADSL Issues/Not Connecting

I lost my ADSL connection Friday night/Saturday morning. I'm a JetStream
Plus user through Orcon and after numerous calls, I have an engineer
booked for Tuesday.

Has anyone else been experiencing weird problems over the weekend? I've
been hearing rumours of major problems.

My Netgear ADSL Modem/Router appears to get one layer of the connection
up - it has up/down connection speeds set and then says...

    Initialize LCP.
LCP is allowed to come up.

Normally this would be followed by...

    PAP authentication success

but not any more.

GB.
