I had/am having (haven't checked today) a similar problem
since Thursday with Orcon UBS. On Thursday, could not log on
(PPP connection could not be established). The FastADSL log
on (for Jetstream not UBS) still worked, not sure why since
it's been over one billing date since I got UBS so they
should have cancelled my normal Jetstream account by now.
However, obviously I did not dare use it for long in case
Telecom decide to use this as an excuse to claim I was still
using Jetstream, just to check Orcon page and e-mails.
Friday it was okay again except it was slow. Further testing
revealed it appeared I had been limited to 64k despite the
fact I was using UBS. A bit miffed, I eventually tried
restarting the modem only to find I could not log on with my
UBS log on again!. FastADSL was still working (and limited
to 64k of course). To my knowledge, it has never managed to
log on to UBS since then.

I have e-mailed Orcon of course.

It is possible I have been having mini authentication
outages over the past week or two since there have been
connection problems according to a flatmate. Also, the Dslam
prevents my modem from connecting at higher than 320/120k
which I had thought meant I'm on UBS not i-UBS but not so
sure if this is true now...

P.S. I had a similar problem last time whereby my speed was
limited to 64k. E-mailed Orcon about it, never got a reply
but it fixed itself.

P.P.S. I have a Nokia m1122
