1) I'm sure Julian loves you plastering his extension across the internet
for all to see. If he gave you his extension hes 'going the extra mile'
for you (hes by no means obliged, thats why they have 0800 numbers I would
think).

2) From what I remember, Extensions starting with 7 are in Hamilton, not
Auckland... Extensions start with 9 in Auckland. (Unless somethings
changed. Im bein a pedant here I know :P)

3) "Telecom Business" is HUGE. Would be helpful if you could post 0800
numbers and IVR options so that we know who you spoke to, as clues for
anyone else who ever has problems.

Theyve changed the IVR structure since the introduction of UBS (most of
the numbers I had have been discon'd or rerouted to Xtra it seems) but
theoretically you should never have to talk to Telecom - You call your
ISP, be that Xtra or Orcon or Whoever. (Unless you have a physical line
fault, in which case - 120).

Suprised you have to do all this legwork. To my mind if youre an Orcon
customer they should be doin this all for you.

Mark.
