Part charge from the changeover plus monthly charge from there. The
issue to me is that Telecom broek their contract yet still want to
charge the full month. The phone rep wasn't terribly helpful - they've
obviously been given a line which doesn't make a lot of sense,

I'd be happy enough with an acceptance that there should only be a part
charge - don't mind which, provided that they can justify the charge.
Interesting - I note that its the ISP's which have had to advise people
that the service was terminating, not Telecom - even that loos to have
some sontractual issues.
It's no wonder their profit is up.
