This is about Telecom not wanting to provide ADSL directly to people
not using Xtra.

Currently I have Paradise as my ISP and am getting ADSL via Telecom.
This is a service Telecom no longer want to supply, they want me to get
ADSL from the same company that provides my ISP services. But I live in
an area that has Telstra-Clear cable so if I switch to Paradise/Telstra-Clear
I have to switch to cable - which will be expensive if I don't switch
phone services which I don't want to do.

Switching ISP is potentially difficult as our company website is also on
Paradise and my shifting ISP may cause difficulty for my email address -
not sure about this.

Has anyone else worked through this problem e.g. will Telecom make a special
arrangement for people whose ISP won't run the ADSL service.

Robert
