More anonymous info:

"This is what has been hinted at as slipstream, it won't be called that as
the marketing people don't like the name. They are also trialling plug in
splitters, so there won't be a technician visiting (so lower connection
fee). The exchange work still needs to be done though, so I don't think it
will be a free installation, except for a promotional period.

It is what is being trialled by Telecom staff right now.

I don't know the pricing but you can bet it will be priced with Chello
pricing in mind."
